(Hanover, MD, October 18, 2011) CSDC Board Vice-Chair Ember
Reichgott Junge will deliver the keynote address at the
Minnesota Charter Schools Conference in St. Paul on November
3, 2011.
The conference, with the theme "Celebrating 20 Years; Looking
Forward 20 Years," will examine the history of the revolutionary
education movement that was launched with Minnesota's passage of
the nation's first charter law in 1991, as well as discuss where
the movement is headed over the next 20 years.
Reichgott Junge, who authored Minnesota's pioneering law 20
years ago, chronicles its legislative journey in "Zero Chance of
Passage: The Charter School Story," due to be published in early
2012.
