Al Dubin, Senior Vice President
Al Dubin joined CSDC as Senior Vice President in 2010. With over
twenty-five years of managerial and financial experience, Al has
held senior management positions in both large multi-divisional
corporations and smaller firms. He has been the Chief Financial
Officer of companies across a broad spectrum of industries
including hi-tech, retail, wholesale, real estate development and
education.
Al has been involved in the education industry for over ten
years having served as CFO of a $200M school supply wholesaler,
Executive Vice President of a Charter School Management
organization and, more recently, as the CEO of a nonprofit company
that helps Charter Schools finance and manage their facility needs.
He has arranged equipment financing for more than 300 Charter
Schools in more than ten states and the District of Columbia. He
has also helped develop more than a dozen Charter School facilities
in Colorado, Indiana, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan,
Arizona and the District of Columbia and arranged financing for
these through both commercial and municipal financing vehicles.
Al has an M.B.A. in Finance from Bentley College and a B.A. from
the University of Rhode Island.
